Two terrorists get killed in J&K’s Sopore Encounter

Encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Warpora of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on July 22. A Special team of JK Police, Army’s 22RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Warpora.

Terrorists were given an option to surrender however two terrorists got killed during the encounter, one of them being a top commander of proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Incrimating materials including arms and ammunition were also recovered.
