Why Factories In Gujarat And Victories In Bihar? RJD Leader Yadav Fires Salvo At BJP

| Updated: October 25, 2025 14:08

As the political temperature rises in Bihar, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav launched a fierce attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his visit to the state, accusing him of favouring Gujarat over Bihar.

“You set up factories in Gujarat, but you want victory in Bihar, it’s not going to happen. Bihar is bigger than Gujarat in every aspect. Every tenth person in the country is from Bihar… The Prime Minister has only worked to deceive Bihar. Whatever he has given to Gujarat, he hasn’t given even 1% of that to Bihar… The people of Bihar are demanding accountability for everything, and the Prime Minister has no answers,” the RJD leader added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin the Bihar election campaign for the NDA on October 24.

He will hold two major rallies in Samastipur that day, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal had told a certain section of the media.

PM Modi will first launch the campaign from Samastipur, then address another rally in Begusarai.

His second election tour is planned for October 29.

State BJP leaders have proposed 10 rallies for Modi, with details sent to the central leadership.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold 25 rallies, according to reports. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and other senior leaders will also address several rallies.

Earlier, during his rally in Samastipur, PM Modi launched a strong counterattack on the opposition Mahagathbandhan, accusing its leaders of caring more about their families’ political ambitions than the welfare of Bihar’s youth.

He alleged that these parties were setting new records of lies before the young people of the state.

Sharpening his criticism of the RJD, PM Modi said that law and order cannot exist in a state governed by the party. He also attacked what he described as the RJD’s “jungle-raj” era in Bihar, claiming it was marked by rampant extortion, murder, ransom, and kidnapping, which “ruined generations” of the state.

During the rally in Samastipur, PM Modi reportedly said that the RJD and Congress were only concerned about the political future of their own families. He said that this was why they were setting new records of lies before the youth of Bihar. He asserted that law and order could not exist in a state where a party like the RJD was in power and claimed that under RJD rule, extortion, murder, ransom, and kidnapping had flourished.

He further said that the RJD’s “jungle raj” had ruined generations of Bihar and that the worst sufferers of its misrule were women, youth, Dalits, backward classes, and extremely backward classes of the state. Modi added that during this period, the doors of police stations had been closed to Dalits and the extremely backward classes.
