Imran Khan, a Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, claims that retired Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa dubbed him a “playboy” at their final meeting before Bajwa was removed from his constitutional post by a no-confidence vote last year.
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman discussed “dirty audios” allegedly associated with him during his Monday media interview at his Lahore residence. “What message we are giving to our youth through dirty audios and videos,” he said.
Recently, three allegedly leaked audio clips thought to be of Khan. Rana Sanaullah, the Interior Minister, asserted that these audio samples are real and that Khan may release videos in the upcoming days.
“In a meeting with Gen Bajwa in August 2022, he told me that he had audios and videos of my party men. He also reminded me that I was a ‘playboy’. I told him…yes, I was (a playboy) in the past and I never claimed that I am an angel,” Khan further added.
Khan, 70, regretted giving Gen Bajwa an extension after he was shot in the leg at a rally in Punjab province in November of last year. “It was my great mistake to grant extension to Gen Bajwa. Bajwa started showing his ‘true colour’ after getting an extension and eventually conspired against my government on the issue of accountability,” he reprimanded.
