There is absolutely no central law that can regulate online gambling in India. Only two states in India have enacted legislation regarding online gambling- ‘Sikkim and Nagaland’. The Sikkim Online Gaming (Regulation) Act, 2008 is the first legislation to be enacted to regulate online gambling.
