| Updated: June 1, 2022 18:33

Assembly elections in Gujarat are approaching fast and the state is witnessing a series of visits from political leaders belonging to all parties and ideologies. As such Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal will be in Gujarat on June 6, where he will attend several events and hold meetings to decide on important matters.

According to sources, AAP is expected to decide on the candidates for Gujarat’s Assembly election on this day and also announce the names. If this happens, AAP will be announcing its candidates before Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as well as Congress.

Besides this, Kejriwal will be part of the closing ceremony of the party’s Parivartan Yatra. Parivartan Yatra that commenced on May 15, is an initiative taken up by the AAP to interact with the people of the state and gather as much support as possible. Different party leaders kicked-off processions covering 6 zones of the state through varied routes as part of this yatra.

Kejriwal will address massive rallies in North Gujarat, which is a core region of the Patidar community. He will also hold a rally in Ahmedabad or Mehsana.

This will be Kejriwal’s fourth visit to the state in the past two months.
