| Updated: January 3, 2024 16:04

The Gujarat BJP has assigned incharges for all 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state, as part of its preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

This move is seen as a major boost to the party’s organizational strength and readiness for the important polls.

Pradipsinh Jadeja, a former minister, will supervise the constituencies of Vadodara, Chotta Udepur, and Bharuch.

The party’s core team member, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, will handle the election affairs in Junagadh, Amreli, and Bhavnagar.

The constituencies of Jamnagar, Porbandar, and Rajkot will be under the guidance of RC Faldu, a former state BJP chief, while Amit Thaker, an MLA from Vejalpur, will take care of the seats of Kutch, Banaskantha, and Patan.

Babu Jebalia, the National General Secretary of Kisan Morcha, has been given the significant task of looking after the party’s interests in Mehsana, Sabarkantha, and Surendranagar.

The strategic seats of Ahmedabad East, Ahmedabad West, and Gandhinagar will be managed by KC Patel, who leads the state’s National Training Movement Department.

Narhari Amin, a Rajya Sabha MP, will be in charge of the party’s campaign and coordination in the seats of Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, and Dahod. Dr. Jyoti Pandya, the National Vice President of the BJP’s Women’s Cell, will oversee the vital southern belt of Surat, Bardoli, Navsari, and Valsad.
