The Gujarat Chief Minister today expressed his admiration for IPS Hasmukh Patel at a public event today. The event was organized to hand over appointment letters to 1990 candidates who cleared the recruitment test for a government job.
The Chief Minister in his speech remarked that Hasmukh Patel’s name always receives applause. “But why do you applaud when his name is uttered? Because he always does his work on time and by the rules, and he does not tolerate any irregularity. When his name is mentioned, irregularities vanish automatically. So you all should also do your work in such a way that it also earns applause. Now you are also part of the government and going to get a chance to serve. People should be happy that this Government servant will do the work. And it is not necessary to do everything, but a visitor should be told politely why his request cannot be met. We all need to improve the image of the government…… The Prime Minister is making the country proud globally, and we need to support him and work accordingly.”
It is noteworthy that IPS Hasmukh Patel is the head of the recruitment board, which conducts recruitment exams for millions of applicants. The recruitment exams had become a headache for the State government due to frequent cases of paper leaks. But after IPS Hasmukh Patel, who is known for his honesty, took charge, the exams are held smoothly without any mishap. The Chief Minister said that the developed Gujarat would lead the developed Bharat.
