Reliance Jio True 5G has been rolled out across districts in Gujarat, this does not imply that 5G speeds will be available in every corner of the state. However, the True-5G coverage is available in all 33 district headquarters of Gujarat. Considering that 5G needs a more dense infrastructure than 4G, complete coverage may take more time.
The telco said in an announcement that “Gujarat holds a special place, as it is Reliance’s Janmabhoomi.” This strategic announcement represents a commitment to Gujarat and its people.”
“Beginning November 25th, Jio users in Gujarat will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, where they will be able to experience Unlimited Data at up to 1Gbps+ speeds at no additional cost,” it added.
However, In Gujarat, the telco will also launch several Jio True 5G-powered initiatives in industries such as education, healthcare, agriculture, and IOT.
“We are proud to share that Gujarat is now the first state to have 100% district headquarters connected with our robust True 5G network,” said Akash M Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited. We want to showcase the true power of this technology and how it can affect billions of lives.”
In addition, the state’s largest telecom operator has announced a True 5G-powered initiative called ‘Education-For-All.’ The initiative, a collaboration between the Reliance Foundation and Jio, aims to digitize 100 schools in Gujarat initially.
This program will link schools with:

Explaining how Jio True 5G is superior to other telecom companies’ 5G services in the country, the company stated that,
A threefold benefit of Jio True 5G is as follows:
1. Stand-alone 5G architecture with advanced 5G network with Zero dependency on 4G network
2. The largest and best mix of 5G spectrum across 700 MHz, 3500 MHz, and 26 GHz bands
3. Carrier Aggregation that seamlessly combines these 5G frequencies into a single robust “data highway” using an advanced technology called Carrier Aggregation
