Gujarat Police arrested 49-year-old Sajid alias Sajid Dubai Wala Majeed Shaikh on Sunday for stealing 19 vehicles worth 5.82 lakhs. The police informed that the accused confessed to having stolen bikes from the parking lots of Bagh Garden in Rander, Adajan, Salabatpura and Umra police station areas.
Sajid is a resident of Gopipura Momnawad. The police said that Sajid is a habitual bike stealer living a luxurious life by travelling abroad. The investigation revealed that he had travelled to Dubai more than ten times. Also, he travelled to Hyderabad multiple times via a flight to eat biriyani.
Police seized 19 stolen vehicles from the accused.
