Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) reviewed the performance of Income Tax, Gujarat. Member (Audit & Judicial ) CBDT, Sangeeta Singh reviewed the performance of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Gujarat region in key action plan areas on Dec 20. The meeting was attended by PrCCIT, Ravindra Kumar and other senior officers.
Singh also had meetings with CAs regarding their problems being faced in uploading of returns and audit reports, and it was decided that a compilation of such problems/issues will be sent to PrCCIT, Gujarat on weekly or fortnightly basis so the same can be resolved promptly.
