More than 3.7 crore income tax returns have been filed so far for the financial year 2020-21. Over 46.77 lakh ITR filed in last seven days and over 8.7 lakh ITRs filed on 21st December, 2021.
Income Tax returns are filed in the last seven days on Dec 21st, 2021. The extended due date for filing an income tax return (ITR) is December 31, 2021.
Earlier, the statistics of Income Tax Returns filed till Dec 20, were a total of Rs 3,90,66,262.
