In his victory in the much-anticipated defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, Johnny Depp celebrated $62,000 (₹48 Lakhs) at a restaurant with close celebrity friends.
On Sunday evening, Depp organized the dinner in Birmingham, England. As per the sources, Johnny Depp experienced authentic Indian Cuisine with cocktails and rose champagne at Varanasi, Birmingham’s biggest Indian restaurant.
The security team made special safety arrangements before Depp arrived with his friends for dinner. “We had a call out of the blue on Sunday afternoon saying that Johnny Depp wanted to come to eat with a group of people,” Mohammed Hussain, operations director of Varanasi, said.
Depp visited the restaurant with the guitarist and a close friend, Jeff Beck, 77, and 20 other friends. Mr. Hussain booked the whole place for Johnny Depp and his friends so they could enjoy the dinner without any diners disturbing them. He hugged and greeted the staff and their families. The restaurant team called Depp a ‘down-to-earth bloke’ because of his warm and respectful attitude towards them.
