Might it be a boomer or a Gen-z, we all are fans of Johar’s renowned Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Probably the trendsetter of love triangle movies, KKHH has a sacred place in the history of cinema. Talking about its remake, Karan Johar did not hesitate twice to reveal that he wishes to cast Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the movie.

He also shared the dream cast’s role when he said he would like Alia to play Kajol’s role, Janhvi to take the part of Rani Mukherjee and Ranveer, obviously to be cast in place of Shah Rukh Khan.

The director at Dharma Productions was also asked what kind of movies he would like to create for his kids. To that he replied that he would only like to direct happy movies, as kids should be exposed to cinema that’s lively and joyous.

Two of KJo’s dream cast’s actors were seen at Koffee with Karan in the first episode of season 7. The celebrity chat show’s new season aired on July 7 on Disney + Hotstar. At the show, both the actors made several confessions, while discussing their respective consorts and how is it to live a married life.

KJo has returned to direction after a respite of 5 years with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The 2023 upcoming film has Ranveer, Alia, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in its star cast.
