Law Minister Rijiju Inspects Performance Of Railway Litigations

Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju and S P Singh Baghel, his junior minister, have examined the outcomes of cases involving railroad disputes. The Ministry of Railways is regarded as the government agency with the highest litigation rate.

According to a ministry document from June 2017, it is a party to more than 66,000 cases that are currently before courts all around the nation.

According to officials, the meeting with representatives of the Department of Legal Affairs took place on Friday.

“Union Minister of Law & Justice Kiren Rijiju ji, in the presence of Minister of State for Law & Justice Prof S P Singh Baghel held a meeting on the performance of Railway Litigation Matters along with the officials from the Dept. of Legal Affairs,” Rijiju’s office tweeted on Saturday.
