Madagascar celebrates ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava’, ITEY alumni seen performing Garba

While India celebrated its 75th year of independence, Indians residing in Madagascar were seen celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a Government initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India. The campaign focuses on the glorious history of Indian people, culture, and achievements.

The iconic building Town Hall of Madagascar was illuminated with the colours of the Indian flag on the eve of India’s 75th year of Independence.

The President of Madagascar took to Twitter to offer greetings to PM Modi on account of Independence Day. His tweet read ” On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence, I send a happy national holiday to the Indian people and the Prime Minister. Madagascar and India will continue to work together to strengthen their historic ties. “
