Sensex on Monday ended in green with a marginal increase of 0.14 percent ending the day at 61,308.91 points. Whereas Nifty-50 ended 0.29 percent higher at 18,308.10 points.
Important to note here is that realty(1.37%), auto(1.98%), and power(1.41%) added 1-2 percent whereas pharma and bank indices ended in red. Good overall performance was seen from BSE mid-cap and small-cap.
After the announcement of Hero Motocorp’s investment of Rs 420 crore in Ather Energy, the market saw it rise by 5.11 percent up around 131.30 points to 2701.85 points.
The Market saw Metro Brands end 19.46 percent higher after registering growth in higher priced products. If you had invested Rs 1,000 in Metro Brands a week ago that would have become Rs 1,268.69 by now.
