Mom, You Taught Me How To Be A Woman…

| Updated: May 10, 2022 16:06

Its days like today make me think about how much you have done for me in my life. You have always sacrificed things for me, and done the best that you can. There were a lot of times that I took you for granted, Mom.

You always know how to fix something. There is a saying that moms are the superheroes of the family, and though dad does an amazing job, I don’t think he could do some of the things that you do. One thing that I know that I appreciate is that you taught me how to be a woman.

You have always been strong and independent, and I’ve seen that because you are a hard worker and you never back down from anything. I am proud to have such a kind compassionate mom like you and I’ve seen that because you love people so much. It is because of your teachings, and those lessons that I am who I am today.

All my life, I have searched for inspiration to deal with the troubles in life but little did I know that after all these years my steps would return to you. You are my idol, you endured bone-crushing pain and brought me into this world, and you made sure I was happy even when you were facing a hard time.

I am sorry for yelling at you at times. You tolerated all my tantrums, door slams, and silent treatments. Even though I was not the perfect child, you were a perfect mother to me.

My happiness has always been your happiness. Thank you for everything you have given me, mommy.

I had an amazing childhood, all thanks to you and dad. You showered abundant love on me. Although you sometimes saved me from dad, you made sure I would never repeat that mistake.

I am glad that I was raised by a strong woman like you. Seeing you, I have learned to get up each time I hit the rock bottom in life. You have been my strength and inspiration. You have taught me to believe in myself and help others. Such valuable lessons helped me in life.

I love you forever mom!
