As the Centre celebrates Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government’s successful eight-year run, a video of an old man from Gujarat praising the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance in a song has gone viral on social media.

The video of the old man singing the song ‘Didho Re Danko Delhi Ni Dodhiye, Gujaratna Modi’ in Gujarati has become a centre of attraction among Gujaratis on social media. The old man seen in this video is named Sadulbhai Ahir. People also know him by the name of Sadul Bhagat. In this viral video, Sadulbhai sings, to loosely translate, ‘Didho Re Danko, Dodhi of Delhi, Modi of Gujarat has woven greenery in India; Make sure that the Rojada (animal that looks like a horse) doesn’t eat it all! Gujarat’s Modi’

Sadulbhai through this song, very intelligently, attacks the opposition comparing them to Rojada who eat the yield in the farms. He says that when PM Modi has planted greenery in the country, be careful and do not let the Rojada eat it all. He says PM Modi has helped enhance the image of India across the world. He has gone to many countries and hoisted the tricolor. Surgical strikes have killed terrorists. His poetic style has gone viral on social media.

It is a well-known fact that PM Modi has a large and loyal fan base. Many others might not be fans but cannot help but admire his hard work. However, what Sadulbhai praised him for in his distinctive style has touched people all over the country. So his video is trending everywhere and has gone viral on social media.
