Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda will be making their acting debuts with Zoya Akhtar’s film “The Archies “.
“And it is a wrap!”
After a two month shoot in Ooty, the hill station, the team has called for a wrap. Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the legendary Sridevi has declared the schedule wrap on her instagram, with a line of “Behind the Scenes” pictures. The cast seems to be having fun in the photos.
Back to Home City – Mumbai
June 19 saw the trio of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor returning to Mumbai along with filmmaker and director Zoya Akhtar
Agastya was greeted by his sister Navya Naveli and pet dog as soon as he reached Mumbai. Khushi was also reunited with her dog and in a loving gesture she took it in her arms. The staff walked around Suhana as she landed off the plane to the airport.
The Archies’ Release Date
The widely famous Archies’s Indian adaptation is set to release in 2023 on Netflix. The film written by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre, produced by Zoya and Reema, shall feature children of Bollywood’s well known faces.
“Netflix’s woke culture”
The film “Archies” has received criticism for the trailer being difficult to relate to and showing “Un-Indianness” in its content. The movie is said to be niche targeted, and accused of being made of the rich, by the rich, for the rich. Hence, it is yet another “out of the touch” movie made by Netflix, a common theme by the OTT platform which stirs up a common complaint by its viewers.
