Oscars 2023: Know Everything About Esteemed Awards

| Updated: March 12, 2023 18:12

The prestigious award ceremony will take place on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. On March 13, early in the morning, it will be televised in India. The 2023 Oscars will air live on ABC.

Who’s hosting the Oscars?

According to media reports, Jimmy Kimmel will headline the ceremony this year. He is performing as an emcee for the third time. Previously, he served as host in 2017 and 2018. Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schumer served as the hosts the year before.

Who will be making an Oscars presentation?

Deepika Padukone, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Troy Kotsur, Dwayne Johnson, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L. Jackson, Melissa McCarthy, Zoe Saldana, Donnie Yen, Jonathan Majors, and Questlove are among the presenters for this year’s Oscars.

Who will perform at the Oscars?

All of this year’s Oscar nominees for best original song, with the exception of Lady Gaga, have confirmed that they will perform at the ceremony on March 12.

The Oscars ceremony follows the custom of performing all of the nominated songs. Rihanna (Lift Me Up), Sofia Carson and Diane Warren (Applause), Stephanie Hsu, David Byrne, and Son Lux (This Is a Life), as well as Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava (Naatu Naatu), are among this year’s performances.

India is experiencing a unique year at the Oscars. This time, three important Indian films are vying for the prestigious Oscars Awards 2023 nominations, not just one. For the dance song Naatu Naatu, which earlier this year won the Golden Globe Award in the same category, RRR is on the shortlist for Best Original Song.

Both “All That Breathes” by Shaunak Sen and “The Elephant Whisperers” by Guneet Monga have received nominations for Best Documentary Short.
