Will there be a lockdown again? Well, we are not sure about it, but in the recent national address, PM Modi gave some directions to the public, such as not buying gold for one year for any event, whether it is a marriage or any gift. He also suggested adopting a work-from-home culture, which is creating widespread speculation that a lockdown situation may take place.
Recently, on 10 May, PM Narendra Modi addressed a public gathering in Hyderabad, where he hinted at these developments.
According to reports, the tension in the Middle East again seems to be at its peak, where the war between Iran, Israel, and America has once again escalated, driving the situation to become tense around the Strait of Hormuz, which is a crucial passage for transporting crude oil from the Middle East to the rest of the world, and the end of the war situation is still not clear.
If this situation keeps rising and does not end soon, the prices of gold, silver, and crude oil may rise historically, which may also affect the nation’s economy.
During the public gathering, PM Modi also addressed the people, where he said that he appeals to the people of the nation not to buy gold for marriages or any other functional purposes. He also said that the way we had adopted work from home earlier, we must adopt it again. Let us adopt online meetings and avoid physical meetings as much as possible. Use metro services or public transport, and adopt carpooling options so that we can reduce the usage of crude oil, and try to adopt electric vehicles as much as possible.
He also said that the tension in the Middle East has caused severe effects on the world economy as well as the Indian economy, as we do not have a long-term crude oil supply. He even suggested avoiding any foreign trips for some time and also reducing the consumption of edible oil.
