PM Modi Inaugurates IN-SPACe Centre; Backs Collabs With Private Sector

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a one-day visit to Gujarat, where he launched several developmental projects. Today he inaugurated IN-SPACe centre in Ahmedabad and while addressing the crowd, congratulated the scientists of ISRO. On this occasion, PM Modi said, “Now scientists and youth will have the chance to think out-of-the-box and explore new ideas. The space center will bring new opportunities.”

PM Modi said in his address that the youth of India will get a chance to show their talent as this centre will bring a new opportunity to everyone in space. If scientists and youth could not work on new ideas, then who else will do it, he questioned. In this department, the space center will also play a big role for the world.

During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed that a wonderful chapter has been added to the development journey of modern India in the 21st century.

PM Modi stated, “Congratulations to all the countrymen and all the people associated with the space industry for the inauguration of today’s new building. The space program is a great opportunity for many people and the corporate sector. Since decades, in India companies have engaged in space projects and promoted the industry’s initiatives.”

Talking about the youth, PM Modi said that earlier, the youth of India did not get a chance to get involved in the field of space. However, this will change now. Youth has more ability to take risks, from which they get to learn something new. Youth can now get involved in different sectors of our country. Today’s youth should be given a chance.”

Furthermore, PM Modi said that private sector must come in in every area that concerns the growth of the country. “Gone are the days when some work could only be done by the government sector! Be it defense sector or drone policy, our government is doing maximum work in collaboration with the private sector, in order to ensure great results,” he stated.

During the event, Home Minister Amit Shah said that the goal of ISRO is to make use of the achievements so far, private companies are also to be included in the space sector, hundreds of startups are being started, their representatives are present, no matter how many before 2014. Governments may have been formed, they have done very little in policy decisions.
