Gujarat: PM Modi To Pay Homage To Sardar Patel On His Birth Anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit poll-bound Gujarat on October 30 to pay homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 147th birth anniversary. The PM will visit Kevadia on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and will also participate in the Ekta Diwas parade. He is on a three-day visit to Gujarat i.e. October 30-November 1. 

Gujarat education minister Jitubhai Vaghani on Saturday said, “The prime minister will first go to Leprosy Ground, Vadodara where he will lay the foundation stone of the Transport Aircraft Manufacturing Plant of the Indian Air Force. He will have an overnight stay at the circuit house Ektanagar, Kevadia. The PM will also visit the Statue of Unity to pay floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhai Patel.”

A musical band of children from the tribal community in Banaskantha district will perform in front of the PM on the occasion, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.

PM Modi will inaugurate several development projects in Ahmedabad and he is also likely to visit his mother Hiraba to seek her blessings. On his last day, PM is also scheduled to attend the Diwali Milan organised by the Gujarat BJP for the workers of 182 assembly seats at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.
