Stock Market: Rally Continues For The Fourth Day In Row

The market continued its positive run on Wednesday as Sensex opened 0.60 percent up at around 60998.90 points, in the afternoon session Sensex reclaimed the 61,000 mark and ended the day 0.88 percent higher at 61,150 points. 

Whereas Nifty50 opened 0.61 percent higher at around 18,187 points. NSE closed above 18,000, 0.87 percent higher at 18,212 points.  

After the Government’s 35.8 percent equity takeover Vodafone-Idea gained around 8.47 percent and ended the day at 12.80 points, with a volume of 133691267 it became the third-highest traded stock. 

Another telecom stock Tata teleservices which has chosen the same model of payment as Vodafone Idea with gains of 3000 percent in one year saw the stock end the day 5 percent down at 276.50 points.

In January, the FIIs net bought domestic stocks worth more than Rs 3,500 crore which suggests the fact that they have started returning after Rs 35,000 crore worth of investors pulled out from the domestic.
