Blackk & One Sports Foundation is organizing Yonex- Sunrise Gujarat State Badminton Championship 2022 in Ahmedabad. It starts on June 15 at Blackk & One Sports Foundation, Eklavya Sports complex. The tournament is timed from 8:00 AM till 9:00 PM. In knockout formated matches, players will be divided into different groups; singles & boys, singles & double girls, and mixed doubles (under 17 &19). A total of 166 players will participate in the badminton tournament.
“Blackk & One Sports Foundation is Ahmedabad’s largest private badminton academy with International level 5 courts. For the tournament, we are using Service Judging equipments – this machine is used in international level tournaments. But for the first time, it is being used in Gujarat. Blackk & One Sports Foundation is going to be introducing this machine in the tournament.” Said Mr. Jitendra Yadav, Owner of Blackk & One Sports Foundation.
The tournament will hold under the mentorship of the Gujarat Badminton Association and the Ahmedabad Badminton Association. The inauguration will be done by Mr. Mayur Parikh, the Honorary Secretary of Gujarat Badminton Association & Joint Secretary of BAI. Alongside Mr. Jitendra Yadav and Mr. Romit Arora, Director of Blackk & One Sports Foundation.
With wooden flooring and outspread on the 12,000 sq. ft. area, the academy is open to adults wishing to play the sport for leisure and fitness via booking. The largest private badminton academy in Ahmedabad, it offers to guide children of ages six and above. Along with a well-equipped gymnasium and a physiotherapy center, the academy has national and international coaches, which is crucial for further training in the sport. Apart from primary training, the academy provides semi-advanced and advanced coaching for badminton.
