Gujarat-based Swayam Foundation took an initiative to support victims of the devastating floods that hit Assam in July 2026. To raise funds for the rehabilitation of flood victims, the non-governmental organisation (NGO) organised a special musical programme and charity fundraiser in Ahmedabad.
The programme was held at Natarani Amphitheatre, Usmanpura, Ahmedabad, on 28 September 2026, from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Known singers Mukhtar Shah and Priyanka Basu performed at the musical evening.
The charity fundraiser was organised to raise finances for the rehabilitation of victims of the Assam floods.
The event also emphasised the issue of climate change, with the aim of creating awareness about sustainability and environmental protection.

Swayam Foundation is a non-governmental organisation working since 2010, mainly for the holistic education of underprivileged and tribal children. The foundation also supports livelihood projects and conducts counselling sessions for furthering socio-economic equity and sustainability.
