Travelers face difficulties in acquiring visas in many countries due to various reasons. Let’s take a look at the visa policies of ten countries out of 195 countries around the world.

  1. Russia


Russia doesn’t give away visas that easily. Under a complicated process, You need to overcome several questions that are required to fill in the form, To get a Russian visa. Plus, to get the visa approved, one should fill in all places they have visited in the past ten years.

2. Cuba

3. Iran

To gain access to the country, applying for a visa is a must; however, one will be exempt from applying for a visa if they have a diplomatic passport issued from countries like India, Indonesia, Turkey, China, Iran, and Tajikistan.

8. North Korea


Here one will need to apply for the visa through a tourist agency, which provides state-approved tours. Those from South Korea or with an American passport, are not eligible for this country’s visa. Also, even if you have a visa, you will not be able to explore the country as you like, because you are not allowed to talk with the locals, or speak ill of the North Korean leader; plus, you should not walk around on your own, and cannot leave the hotel too on your own.

9. Nigeria

To apply for a tourist visa for this country, travelers are required to have a letter of invitation from their host, a valid return airline ticket, a confirmed hotel reservation, and show proof of funds to cover their stay in Nigeria.

10. Pakistan


To get access to Pakistan, travelers are first required to find a sponsor. They can either be a person whom the traveler knows in the country, or it can also be a tour company. The sponsor will be required to provide an official letter of invitation, and all the required details about his relationship with the traveler, and the purpose of travel.
