President-elect Donald Trump intends to issue over 200 executive orders on his first day in office, prioritising border security, energy, lowering living costs for American families, and dismantling DEI programmes within the federal government.
A senior administration official told a section of the media that Trump plans to issue multiple “omnibus” executive orders, each encompassing dozens of major actions.
“A historic set of executive orders and actions is being issued by the president that will substantially reform the government of the United States, including the complete and total restoration of American sovereignty,” the official was quoted as saying.
Declaring a national border emergency, ordering the US military and Department of Homeland Security to protect the southern border, and prioritising the dismantling of criminal gangs operating in the US are among the first-day works that President-elect Trump will undertake.
A media outlet reports that Trump will issue a proclamation to seal the border to all illegal immigration. In order to eradicate criminal cartels, he will form task forces of officers from the FBI, ICE, CEA, and other agencies.
In order to strengthen the homeland security mission, Trump will also designate these cartels to be foreign terrorist organisations, granting them additional powers.
According to sources, Trump would order the military to continue constructing the border wall, restore the “Remain in Mexico” and “Catch and Release” policies, and provide emergency powers to halt the entry of illegal aliens so they can swiftly return to their homelands.
Regarding energy, he will “fully unleash” Alaskan energy, highlighting its vital role in the national security of the United States.
Trump would act immediately to revoke the security clearances of 51 national security personnel in connection with the Hunter Biden laptop incident on his first day in office.
According to the report, he would rename historic sites like the “Gulf of America,” create a precise definition of biological sex, and end all governmental diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives.
