Gangsters Manpreet Singh, also known as Mannu, and Jagroop Singh, alias Roopa, who are the main suspects in the Moose Wala murder at Mansa, had been hiding in a farmhouse in the village.
The head of the Punjab Police’s Anti-Gangster Task Force, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Pramod Ban, said, “Sidhu Moose Wala was killed on May 29. Manpreet Singh, alias Mannu, and Jagroop Singh, alias Roopa, were both killed today in exchange of fire.”
In the house where they were hiding, he claimed they had found an AK-47 rifle and a .30mm pistol. “In addition, a bag was found; it will be opened following a forensic examination. We’ll send a team to inspect the area,” Ban said.
