Shooting of Moosewala
Sidhu Moosewala’s life-sized statue was unveiled at his village in Mansa, on July 18. The late singer was shot in the village on May 29, after his security was reduced by the Punjab Government. The firing took place incessantly for 10 minutes with unknown shooters shooting around 30 shots of bullets. The singer had 19 wounds on his body and he died within 15 minutes of the entire escapade. The other two traveling with him were taken to Patiala for further treatment.
Life-Size Statue Unveiled
A 6.5 feet tall statue of Moosewala was unveiled by his parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur. A post was shared by a paparazzi account, Viral Bhayani, which shows Sidhu’s father getting emotional while unveiling the statue. The statue was unveiled on the land where Sidhu was cremated on May 31.
The caption suggested that a huge crowd had gathered on the ground with youths screaming that they were also Sidhu’s father’s sons.
Mother and Father’s Condition
The photo showed Balkaur Singh hugging his son. He got emotional and broke down seeing the life-like the statue of his son. We see his mother looking at the statue with deep pain. The caption under the photo read as “Installed his statue on the land where the singer was cremated on May 31″

Status of Shooters
Latest reports have said that on Sunday, Delhi Special police Commissioner HGS Dhaliwal stated that three main shooters, one logistics provider and one who recced the area have been caught in the Sidhu Moosewala case. He further added that the search for two other 3 shooters who have escaped and one person who provided logistics is also ongoing.
