It is said that every person’s destiny is written in stone and while many are lucky, you will hardly find any like Vidhi Jadhav. Naturally kind by nature, Vidhi’s destiny, it seems, is filled with affection and love as she gets tons of it from people she only just meets. One can just guess, that with her generous actions, social service is in Vidhi’s blood.
When youngsters are engaging in traveling and partying during summer vacations, Vidhi, a young girl from Nadiad, visits families of the valiant soldiers who are serving the country and protecting our borders. This young girl, so far, has met with hundreds of soldier families through out India.
Vidhi will make special efforts to meet with the family who has lost their loved one while serving the country. Her initiative is so known in the region that people inform her of the fallen soldier. As soon as possible, Vidhi will take it upon herself to meet with the grieving family and help them as much as she can.
This young girl has undertaken these activities at an early age and help the families of martyred jawans and send condolences to them. She was also honoured by former Chief Minister of the Gujarat, Vijay Rupani for her patriotism.
Every summer vacation when everyone of her age plans for outing at hill stations and other places, Vidhi is visiting the families of soldiers and spend time with them. This year she is currently visiting the families of our martyred soldiers of Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab. Vidhi has visited more than 160 families of martyrs so far since the start. She helped the families financially as per her capabilities and ahs also managed to build an emotional bond with them.
She is currently visiting the families of martyred soldiers on this mission of compassion and humanity. The families welcomed her with happiness and pride and talked with her for hours. Vidhi also brought Gujarati farsan for them.
She also paid a courtesy call on the families of the soldiers martyred in the Kargil War at Kargil Vijayi Colony in the Dwarka area of New Delhi.
When any soldier is martyred in the country, Vidhi writes a letter of consolation to his family and sends five thousand to them. So far she send such letters and help to the 295 families of martyred soldiers.
Vidhi had written letter to all the families of 40 soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama attack in Jammu and Kashmir and sent Rs11,000 to each family and contacted them telephonically. She regularly communicates with them via WhatsApp asking them about their well being. She also communicates with their young children.
Vidhi has so far attended the unveiling of statues of 10 martyrs in different states and visited a total of 4 borders of Gujarat and Rajasthan during the festivals. It is to be mentioned here that Vidhi is given special permission to visit the borders of country to celebrate Rakshabandhan with the soldiers.
