A’bad Bizman Files Assault Case Against Partners

| Updated: May 16, 2022 16:40

An Ahmedabad-based businessman, Viral Mukund Shah, has filed a complaint against his business partners for assaulting and threatening him over their failed automotive business. He has said that his business partners thrashed him and detained him and his family and also threatened to implicate him in a false rape case if he did not take full responsibility for the failure of their business.

The FIR, filed at Pathapur police station in Gandhinagar, names Bhaumik Thakkar, Jankaar Solanki, I H Saiyyed Vakil, Ravi Chaudhary, Kuren Amin and Ishit Amin as accused in the case. The statement said that Shah was coerced and put under duress to accept blame over a car showroom getting stuck in litigation. The partners tried to force him to sign a statement where he took complete blame for the loss. When Shah refused to do so, the partners cursed at him and threatened to kill his family. They also held him and tied him up when Shah tried to leave and thrashed him. Finally, after several attempts, Shah escaped and reached his car where his driver was present. Shah was severely injured so the driver took him to Zydus Hospital where he was admitted.

Shah has said that that Thakkar called him on the morning of May 14 and asked him to meet them at  Vasant Vihar Bungalows to discuss the matter of the showroom. The showroom on S.G. Highway has been closed since Kuren Amin had filed a case with the CID and named 27 people, including Shah and Jankaar Solanki. However, Shah’s name was quashed in the case on May 2. Nevertheless, Shah’s business partners tried to force Shah to take complete blame for the losses.
