Amruta Fadnavis was at Cannes as a part of an initiative to create awareness about sustainability and health. The social worker, who is married to BJP leader (and former Maharashtra CM, Devendra Fadnavis), was in limelight on May 25.
The slew of Bolly divas walking the red carpet at Cannes has left a glitzy trail. This, of course, met with mixed response from netizens. However, Amruta’s studied look in a black gown has garnered instant likes.

For her appearance, the banker-social worker opted for a strapless black structured gown by designer Adaa Mallikk. The floor-length sequin ensemble featured dramatic details on the bodice, a silver layered belt cinched at the waist and a long train.
To accessorise her presence, she opted for a pair of dangling diamond earrings and a couple of rings. Her hair was worn open in soft curls and the lending the finishing touches were smoky eyeshadow, kohled eyes, sleek eyeliner, blushed and highlighted cheeks and glossy lip colour.
Devendra and Amruta tied the knot in 2005 and have a daughter, Divija.
