BBC Most Corrupt Corporation In World, Says BJP

| Updated: February 14, 2023 18:59

BBC is the ‘most corrupt’ corporation in the world; its propaganda and Congress’ agenda go together, the BJP says at a press meet.

Supreme Court a couple of days back refused to ban on exhibition of BBC Documentary.

The BJP said that the Congress should remember former prime minister Indira Gandhi had banned BBC saying to reference the opposition criticism of the IT survey operation at the BBC offices.

Income Tax officials are conducting ‘survey’ operations on the Indian offices of the British public broadcaster BBC in both Delhi and Mumbai on Tuesday.

According to sources, the IT officials verified certain account documents in the finance department of BBC. IT officials arrived at BBC offices located at the national capital’s KG Marg for the survey.

The British broadcaster’s office at Kalina Santacruz in Mumbai was also surveyed, sources said, adding that the survey was limited to the business premises of BBC only.

The BBC recently aired a documentary about the 2022 Gujarat violence in which Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is implicated. The documentary has been banned from social media and online channels by the Centre, despite being screened in colleges and universities across the country.
