China has decided to impose stricter restrictions on its Citizens in order to control the widespread of Coronavirus. A restriction has been placed on the residents of the city of Xi’an in Central China that no one can leave the city without a permission from employers and local authorities.
Restrictions were imposed from December 27, Monday and anyone seen on the roads would be charged with a 10 day police detention and a 500 yuan fine.
The only type of cars allowed on the roads are for Covid control such as the vans spraying disinfectant or for livelihood maintenance of the citizens. The citizens can leave their houses only to get tested or for medical emergencies, and for the less at risk areas they can leave their houses to get supplies and basic needs only if they test negative. Anyone who refuses to follow the rules have to face detention and a fine stated the police officials.
