Ahmedabad on Thursday reported 13 new covid cases. With the discharge of 12 patients, the total number of active cases in the city reached 123.
NID’s Gandhinagar Campus:
NID’s Gandhinagar campus reported seven new cases in the past five days which consisted of four girls and two boys. Important to note here is that campus was put under containment as many cases were reported.
GMC’s Action:
As per the reports, Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) declared the campus as a micro containment zone and started tracing the infected students. After which, over 300 students and staff members took the Rapid and RTPCR tests.
Cases in Gujarat:
Gandhinagar and Mehsana reported 5 cases each. Gir Somnath district and Surat city reported one case each. Reports also show that there is no patient on a ventilator. Gujarat has 22 districts which zero active cases.
