The police in Japan have been searching the residence of a man, who reportedly blew up a pipe bomb prior to the Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s speech, said the Japanese media outlets.
Residents in the area have been cautioned by the authorities to avoid the area as explosives were used in the incident on Saturday.
On the spot, Kimura Ryuji was taken into custody by the police on charges of forcible business obstruction.
According to the news source, Kimura Ryuji is a 24-year-old from Hyogo Prefecture. The suspect, reportedly, stated that he would only submit to questioning in the presence of his lawyers.
