| Updated: February 6, 2023 17:29

The New Delhi Municipal Council will host the G-20 Food Festival with the themes “Taste the World” and “International Year of Millets” at Talkatora Stadium next week. 29 nations have been invited by NDMC to take part in the Food Festival, which will take place on February 11 and 12.

“The main purpose of the festival is for the public to enjoy food delicacies of G-20 member countries and guest countries. All the G-20 member nations and guest countries are invited to participate in this food festival,” the NDMC said in a statement.

All interested G20 members and guest countries will receive the necessary space or stall as well as additional on-site logistic support, according to the civic organisation. Those who are interested must provide their own chefs, labour, and ingredients for the preparation of a variety of delights. It stated that the prepared food might be paid for and sold to visitors.

The food festival will raise awareness of different cuisines from across the world and offer advice on healthy eating and food preparation.

According to the NDMC, “food preparation courses or a live demonstration counter may also be included in the food festival, along with a display of images and writing about the cuisines.”
