A day after the state reported an increase in daily covid cases, Thursday saw a slight dip in the daily covid cases as a daily tally stood at 737. For the past few days, covid numbers in the state are increasing.
While Ahmedabad city remained the biggest contributor with 299 cases. Other major contributors include Surat with 72 cases, Vadodara with 60 cases, Gandhinagar with 30 cases, Mehsana with 28 cases, Surat rural with 21 cases, and Bhavnagar with 20 cases. These six regions made up for 70% of the Covid cases recorded today. The state reported one covid death, 687 recoveries, and three persons are on the ventilator.
