I will Contest Elections to Fight for the Youth – Yuvrajsinh Jadeja

| Updated: April 17, 2022 20:27

Only a day after he was released on bail, Aam Aadmi Party student leader Yuvrajsinh Jadeja announced a new organization Yuva Navnirman Sena, and expressed his desire to contest elections. “If I can fight to solve the problems of the youth, I will contest the elections,” he said.

Speaking about the new organization, Jadeja said Yuva Navnirman Sena would work for the rights of educated youth at the state level as well as district and taluka level. The organization will first appeal to the government and then fight for the rights of the youth. “I am working for the rights, interests and entitlements of the youth and will continue to do so,” he said.

Jadeja, who was charged with  attempted murder by driving over a police vehicle, was granted conditional bail yesterday. His bail application was heard in Gandhinagar Sessions Court.  Jadeja was arrested by the Gandhinagar police for “attempt to murder” under section 307 of the IPC. According to the police complaint, his act could have resulted in the death of the constable.

AAP leader Praveen Ram alleged that the government was apprehensive about the written examination for Lok Rakshak Dal (LRD) police constable recruitment that were scheduled for April 10. He said, fearing that Jadeja would again bring up irregularities in the recruitment, the state government put him behind bars to keep him quiet.
