IIMA Completes PGP-FABM Final Placements for 2023-25 Batch

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has concluded the final placement process for the Post-Graduate Programme in Food & Agribusiness Management (PGP-FABM) for the batch of 2023-25 on February 6, 2025. The process was conducted in a hybrid mode, with 44 students securing placements and set to join their respective companies between April and June 2025.

The placement drive saw strong participation from multiple sectors, including Agri-inputs, Agri-Tech, Consulting, Conglomerates, Food Processing, FMCG, Manufacturing, and ESG Consulting. Grant Thornton Bharat emerged as the top recruiter. Regular recruiters such as Accenture, Ernst & Young (EY), Grant Thornton Bharat, Godrej Agrovet, PI Industries, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Amul, and Reliance Industries reaffirmed their confidence in the programme. 

New recruiters, including ITC-ABD, Novasol Ingredients, Valency International, Ashirvad by Aliaxis, Jain Irrigation Systems, and Husk Power Systems, also participated.

Prof Viswanath Pingali, Chairperson of Placements, stated, “FABM is the number one programme in the world when it comes to agribusiness. The recruiters confirmed it again through the placements of the candidates. In my interactions with students, I see the potential for future leaders in the agricultural and business sector.”

Siddharth Choudhury, Recruitment Secretary of the PGP-FABM Placement Committee, thanked all recruiters for their trust in the PGP-FABM batch and their participation in the final placements. The placement committee congratulated the Class of 2025 on completing the process and wished them success in their careers.

Cohort-wise placement details:

  • Management Consulting: 11 students
  • Finance & Trading: 3 students
  • ESG Consulting & Advisory: 4 students
  • Agri Input & Agri-Tech: 6 students
  • FMCG: 10 students
  • Food Processing: 6 students
  • Manufacturing: 2 students
  • Others: 2 students

Further details will be published in an audited report under the Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS), introduced by IIMA for greater transparency in business school placements. The IPRS report for ‘PGP-FABM Final Placements 2025’ will be shared with stakeholders upon release.
