Indian Duo Makes World Record By Travelling To 7 Continents In Merely 3 days

| Updated: January 12, 2023 12:52

A duo from India did this, breaking a world record! To beat the world record, they travelled to all seven continents in three days, 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 4 seconds.

Visiting all seven continents in the least amount of time is a new Guinness World Record set by Dr Ali Irani and Sujoy Kumar Mitra from India. They both enjoy travelling and think that every record should be smashed.

The duo claimed in a statement to the Guinness World Records that they had succeeded in breaking a record today, which will be broken by another person tomorrow.

Sujoy and Dr Ali are both ardent travellers who think that all records are meant to be broken, the record book stated on its website. Dr Ali also posted the Guinness World Records certificate to his Instagram account in the interim.

The duo said that they left on December 4, travelled to all seven continents, and surpassed the previous record by roughly 13 hours as they provided additional details about their adventure.

On December 7, 2022, they arrived in Melbourne, having completed a record-breaking journey. Dr Irani expressed his gratitude and humility at reaching this milestone, saying it was an honour and pleasure to break a world record while working on a project that both of them were deeply enthusiastic about.

Dr Khawla AlRomaithi of the UAE formerly held the record, which she set in February 2020 and was 3 days, 14 hours, 46 minutes, and 48 seconds.
