IPL Auction: PBKS Gets Sam Curran For Rs 18.50 Cr, Being The Most Expensive

Punjab Kings picked Sam Curran at the record-breaking auction for Rs 18.50 crore. Capped all-rounders are currently being bid on.

Harry Brook of England was the subject of a heated bidding battle between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the end, SRH paid a staggering Rs 13.25 crore to acquire him. Mayank Agarwal was also purchased by them for Rs 8.25 crore.

Gujarat Titans have acquired Kane Williamson for Rs 2 crore. Chennai Super Kings choose veteran Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane. with a starting price of Rs. 50 lakh. Rillee Rossouw and Joe Root sold out.

At the auction this year, 405 players will be up for bid. However, with a total prize pool of INR 183.15 crores, there are only 87 places available to the teams.
