Ahmedabad is an expanding city and every few months newer areas are popping up as hubs of development. While once areas like commercial and residential development was centred around C.G. Road, Ambavadi and Nehrunagar areas, now this has shifted to S.G.Highway, Vejalpur and Sarkhej. In fact, Iskon Circle on SG Road might soon get commercial building boasting 41 floors, making it the tallest yet in the state at 145 meters.
One such upcoming area that has been flying under the radar as of yet is the Iscon-Ambli road. This area has seen massive developmental projects and is growing rapidly on the real estate front, especially following the pandemic.
According to sources, this four kilometre stretch from Iscon Crossroads to Bopal Junction has in just the past year recorded major land transactions worth around Rs1500 crores. There have been at least a dozen or so deals for range from 5,000 to 10,000 square yards in the area.
Land rate in the region that has seen many finalized deals stood at Rs1.80 lakh per square yard and Rs2.70 lakh per square yard.
This area is already home to many luxury residential apartments and commercial spaces are on the rise. Interestingly, this area, unlike many others in the city, does not have mixed development. As such, houses and offices here are being promoted as purely luxury spaces and are targeted at high-end markets.
