Jaipur Lit Fest To Return On Ground Next Year

The world-famous Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) will take place from January 19 to 23, 2023, at Hotel Clarks Amer. JLF will once again include world-famous writers, litterateurs, politicians, and film industry representatives. Authors writing in various languages will donate their books to the JLF.

The pandemic upended most people’s lives, but the coming year is set to bring this nostalgia back to the pink city of Jaipur. 

To our delight, the Jaipur Literature Fest, or JLF as it is commonly known, will return in 2023. The 16th edition, which will bring together authors, readers, connoisseurs, influencers, and thinkers, will take place between January 19 and January 23, 2023, with its distinctive flavor, substance, and scale. In addition to housing some of the best authors in the world temporarily, JLF will continue its online edition and be active with discussions in its usual format at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur. 

Speakers At JLF

In sessions spread across 5 venues with more than 250 speakers, the Festival will provide a representation of all Indian national languages as well as numerous foreign languages, according to a statement from the organizers. JLF’s first lineup of speakers includes Abdulrazak Gurnah, the 2021 Nobel Prize in Literature winner, Bernardine Evaristo, the co-winner of the 2019 Booker Prize, Deepti Naval, the actress and author of the recently published A Country Called Childhood, Jerry Pinto, a journalist, writer, and translator based in Mumbai, Merve Emre, the Turkish-American author and literary critic, Rana Safvi, the American-Canadian author and filmmaker, and NoVio

Friends of the Festival

When Jaipur vibrates with the best thoughts, music, and events at JLF the following year, a special package will enable guests to experience a truly immersive insight into the five-day festival. Delegates to the FOF are given easy access to the Friends of the Festival Lounge, as well as shuttle service, airport transportation, and specially designed meals.  

The Jaipur Music Stage, the spectacular Heritage Evening, and evening cocktails are all open to the delegates. The Heritage Evening will be held in front of the magnificent Amber Fort. 

Delegate Entry

The online booking price for the delegate entry packages is INR 13,500 for a single day, INR 36,000 for a period of three days, and INR 56,000 for a period of five days.
