Kenyan National Dies While Trying To Smuggle Drugs Through SVPI

Yet another incident of drugs being imported into the city via the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPI) by human carriers have been reported.

On Wednesday at around 6:15 A.M., a Kenyan national named Shikhole Daina Nalima passed through the green channel. The officers found her walking pattern to be suspicious and intercepted her. They suspected that she was carrying narcotic-filled capsules inside her body during her interrogation.

The kenyan was rushed to the hospital for their extraction. However, one of the capsules burst during treatment, and she passed away. An accidental death report has been registered at the Airport police station, and further investigations are on.

During her interrogation, officials suspected that she was carrying narcotic-filled capsules inside her body. As a result, she was sent to the Civil Hospital for her abdomen x-ray and CT scan, which proved that she had pills inside her abdomen.

The capsules were extracted, but in the process, one capsule had burst inside her body, which resulted in the deterioration of her health and eventually her death.

Meanwhile, to ascertain the narcotic substance found, the capsules have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for examination, and mainly it is suspected to be cocaine.
