| Updated: October 31, 2025 11:44

She is a National Award winner and he is known for his roles in Hindi and Gujarati movies. Now, actors Manasi Parekh and veteran performer Tiku Talsania are facing legal consequences after videos of them performing dangerous motorcycle stunts on Ahmedabad’s busy streets went viral. The scenes were reportedly filmed as part of the promotion for their upcoming Gujarati movie Misri, but the footage has since sparked a heated debate over road safety.

She had won National Award for her Gujarati movie – Kutch Express.

One viral clip shows Manasi Parekh recreating the famous “Titanic” pose while standing on a moving motorcycle, while another captures Talsania riding standing upright on the bike. Both sequences were reportedly shot amid regular traffic, prompting widespread criticism online. Viewers described the acts as reckless and irresponsible, pointing out the potential risk to lives.

Ahmedabad Police Take Swift Action

Responding to the viral videos, the Ahmedabad Traffic Police launched a formal investigation. In an announcement shared on X (formerly Twitter), the police confirmed the registration of Crime Register No. 11191051250588/2025 at the ‘A’ Division Traffic Police Station. The case cites violations under BNS Section 281 and Sections 177 and 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, which cover negligent and dangerous driving that could endanger human life.

Authorities have stressed that “legal action has been initiated,” highlighting the seriousness of the offence. Both the actors later on apologised for their act.

Public Reaction Split

The viral stunt has divided social media users. While many condemned the actors for setting a poor example and flouting safety norms, others viewed the act as a poorly judged but creative attempt at film promotion. A large section of netizens, however, have called for stricter measures to prevent such reckless behaviour on public roads.
