NTR nor NT Rama Ro, a legendary Telugu actor and former Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister’s daughter Uma Maheswari, has reportedly died of suicide at her home on Monday, says Police.
The 57 year old daughter, son in law among others broke the door of the bedroom which was locked from the inside after failing to get a response from her in long, shared a police official. Upon opening the door, they found her hanging from the ceiling fan, he said.
She is suspected to have taken this extreme decision due to depression, according to preliminary information.
A case under Section 174 of CrPC (Suicide) was registered accordingly.
