Prime Minister Modi to Discuss Exams with Students in "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024"

New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi will engage in a live session with students, teachers, and parents to address exam-related stress and anxieties during “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024” tomorrow, January 29th.

Scheduled for 11:00 AM at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, New Delhi, the event marks the seventh edition of “Pariksha Pe Charcha,” an initiative by PM Modi dedicated to fostering a stress-free environment for students during exam season.

This year’s event has witnessed a remarkable surge in registrations compared to previous editions. Official data reveals a combined total of over 226 lakh registrations, including 205.62 lakh students, 14.93 lakh teachers, and 5.69 lakh parents. This represents a significant increase compared to 2023, where approximately 31.24 lakh students, 5.60 lakh teachers, and 1.95 lakh parents participated.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan lauded the widespread enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the record-breaking registrations on the MyGov portal. He commended the initiative’s impact in promoting positive exam preparation techniques and reducing stress among students.

To ensure accessibility for all, “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024” will be broadcasted live on various platforms. Doordarshan channels, including DD National, DD News, and DD India, will telecast the event nationwide. Additionally, prominent private channels are expected to air the program live.

Radio enthusiasts can tune in to All India Radio Medium Wave and FM channels for the live broadcast. Viewers can also access the live stream online on websites like PMO, Ministry of Education, Doordarshan, MyGov.in, and the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Education. Facebook Live and Swayamprabha are also platforms where the event will be streamed live.

To encourage maximum participation, the University Grants Commission issued a circular urging higher educational institutions to facilitate student viewing by making necessary arrangements like displays and promoting the event among students and faculty.
