The Rajasthan Foundation, a state government platform that connects non-resident Rajasthanis (NRR), has issued helpline numbers for those seeking assistance in aftershocks in Turkey and Syria. Rajasthan is now the second state in the country, after Jammu and Kashmir, to open helplines for its residents.

As the Indian NDRF team is already reaching these places, Rajasthan Foundation has launched helpline numbers +91 83060 09838, 0141-2229111 and 011-23070807 to assist all the NRRs.

Dhiraj Srivastava, Rajasthan Foundation commissioner, said that CM Ashok Gehlot has always been sensitive to the needs of our Pravasi community and especially during crisis situations, the government takes measures to make sure that affected Rajasthanis are helped.”

The foundation is also actively posting on social media and after receiving a request, teams working on the project will share it with the ministry of external affairs and the embassies concerned, said officials.
